KASHMIR VISTADOME TRAIN IN KASHMIR.

The Vistadome train has recently been launched by Indian Railways to boost tourism in Kashmir. This train will enhance the travel experience for both tourists and locals. The Vistadome coach was inaugurated by Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and LG Manoj Sinha on October 19, 2023. These Vistadome coaches feature large glass windows and glass panels in the roof, allowing visitors to enjoy a breathtaking view of the beautiful Kashmir valley.

Currently, the train service is running between the Baramulla and Banihal sections. In the coming months, Kashmir will be fully connected with the rest of the country with the latest addition of Banihal-Khari-Sumber-Sangaldan.

Banihal to Budgam Route

The Vistadome train in Kashmir runs on the Banihal-Budgam route, covering a distance of 90 kilometers. It offers passengers a panoramic view of Kashmir’s breathtaking terrain. The train will depart from Budgam railway station and will make stops at Srinagar, Anantnag and finally at Banihal Railway station. This train have a seating capacity of 32 passengers with one way ticket price of Rupees 940 per person and there is no option for round trip the vistadome train srinagar. So if you are coming from Banihal to Srinagar the ticket price will remain same that is Rs. 940.
