Best time to visit Baisaran Valley Pahalgam

The best time to visit  the mini Switzerland of Kashmir , Baisaran depends on what you want to experience during your visit. If you’re interested in enjoying the snow, the best time to go would be from January to March. However, if you would rather enjoy its greenery and pleasant weather, April to June with a self drive cab  or with a chauffer driven  and as well and onwards would be a better time for you to visit.

How to Reach Baisaran Valley Pahalgam

The picturesque Baisaran Valley is 103 km from Srinagar you can rent a car in Srinagar, and then just a 5-kilometer walk from Pahalgam. You can also take a pony or horse ride to reach Baisaran from Pahalgam main market. If you love walking and can walk uphill, you can reach Baisaran in around 40-50 minutes. There are no hotels in Baisaran valley but if you want a night stay, you can stay in Pahalgam.

Baisaran valley in Winter

It is good to visit Baisaran Valley in winter because it offers a different view compared to summer. However, trekking to Baisaran during winter can be challenging, so you may need to hire a pony. Additionally, the days are shorter in Kashmir during winter, so if you plan to visit Baisaran Valley, make sure to start early. And sometimes it is impossible to visit Baisaran Valley during winter if there is heavy snowfall in Pahalgam.
